Awareness of Legionella and the potentially serious effect of Legionnaires disease have grown in recent years often fuelled by the publicity from the major outbreaks, which have led to prosecutions under the Health & Safety at Work Act
For organisations of all types, it has become more important that individuals understand their legal duties and the serious consequences of a failure to comply with the law.
